Players must register on our Start.gg page (13+ only please). Entry for each Cup event is $3. There is no prize pool for weekly events.
Using our unique ruleset, players will battle for glory. Players can earn their way to the Monthly Qualifiers by placement OR participation.
Based on our rules, you can qualify for the monthly via participation by entering into our event twice a week, so if you have a weekly event that you usually attend that is on one of our comp days, you still can!
Players earn 20 points just for entering a weekly event. Competitors also earn point bonuses for placement in the Top 8. 1st place earns 80, 2nd earns 70…[…] 8th earns 10.
The first Saturday of every month, including June, is the monthly for the previous set of weekly events..
You must earn 160 points in the previous month of battles to Qualify. Once you earn 160 points, you can no longer participate in that month’s weekly events. Entry for each Cup event (including monthly events) is $3, there is no prize pool for monthly qualifiers.
2024 Real Life Example: Your top local player wins on Monday, July 1st (100 points), and wins Thursday, July 4th (100 points). They have qualified for the July Monthly and can no longer participate until after the August 3rd Monthly. If they win the August 3rd Monthly, they can no longer participate as a competing player until the Hashtag Cup Grand Final Official Tournament in June of 2025.
Players will qualify for the monthly by finishing top 3 twice, and can no longer enter. There are an average of 12 events per month, this means by week 3, the revolving top 8 will have qualified, and people playing every event will have qualified by participation mid-week. The Top 8 will radically change every subsequent event after Week 2. This also means people who did not qualify for the monthly also get to play the first bit of the next month without the monthly qualifiers from the previous month (who are banned from entry until after the first Saturday, if they lose the Monthly).
The first Saturday of June is the last Monthly qualifier. The very next weekend is the Cup Tournament.
Who will compete for glory: Winners from Each Monthly automatically receive an invite to this event (11). The Five Non-Winning players with the highest total points for the year (5). Two Alternates will be chosen the first week in June by Vote-In (2). Alternates will play if any of the 16 competitors are unable to participate. A secondary list of competitors (by point total) will be held in case more than 2 alternates are required.

Our TikTok, Twitter, Twitch & Youtube will engage and contribute toward bounties throughout the year. Bounties will revolve around engagement: total viewership, video shares, comments, number of chatters, and more. People can also directly contribute to add to the prize pool.
$5,000 with a top 16 split + Bounties. Every qualifier who participates will earn a share of the prize pool. Some bounties during the year will add to the prize pool. Some will also create prizes for the Side Events.
